How much money does it take to live where you are?

Where are you?

I get by on $1400/month (after taxes) in Columbus, OH. Without considering lifestyle and number of people, no answer is truly meaningful.

I could scrape by on 2,000 per month here in Sacramento,CA. $1600 per month if car is paid off and 1400 if i got rid of cell phone, house phone, cable, internet.

Houston,Texas, is 1000.00 to 15,00.00 a month or less

If you are single and live in the Philippines, you need about 1,000 US dollars ( about 40,000 pesos ) to have a decent life style.

It depends what your expenditures are. I don't have a car, mortgage, credit cards, loans, kids, etc. If I did, I probably couldn't live on 1,000/month (which is what my income is). Otherwise I would consider some sort of assistance.
