Having money means you don't need to worry about money. That's all. It doesn't ensure happiness. True? |
Before, I was considered wealthy due to the stock market, but I was lonely, and both my parents had passed away from cancer when I was in high school. No siblings, just lonely, until I met my wife. She supports me and pushes me through everything. Even though a failed business venture means I'm not a millionaire anymore, I'm happy now because of my wife. So I want to tell this to the people who have not been rich, and thinks that being rich will make you happy. No, look at Britney Spears. From personal experience, being rich only means you don't have to worry about money, paying the bills. You don't have to think twice about buying something with a $500 pricetag. However, you can still be unhappy because you focus on the things you don't have, or focus on how your parents or loved ones died too soon. Look at Howard Hughes. You can have a debilitating illness like him, OCD, which I also had. Good to read your experience! But still I would like to take a final call on your thoughts only after I become a millionaire!! Being rich means you have to worry about protecting your money. That usually has the reverse effect to making you happy, and unless you are so poor that providing for yourself is a problem thenbeing rich gives you more worry and unhappiness. This looks like more of a discussion topic than a question, but heres my take: Absolutely TRUE!!! |
