The Mystery Spot Santa Cruz, California?

Hello Ive lived in Northern California my entire life. Ever since I as a kid (Im now 44) Ive seen these horrible looking bumper stickers for the Mystery Spot in Santa cruz. Whats the deal with these bumper stickers. I cant imagine the hundreds of Mystery Spot bumper stickers Ive seen have been willing placed on peoples cars by the car's owners. Does someone who works for the Mystery Spot go around plastering these tacky looking bumper stickers on innocent victims cars while they are inside a mall or something. Do they give you a discount on admission if you place one on your car or is it actually some weird cult who worships the Mystery Spot and belives that the aliens will beam them up soon and they need the bumper sticker to let the aliens know the are one of the willing. PLEASE tell me about the bumper stickers, Im dying to know why so many people put them on their cars.

I've always wondered WHY anyone would want to put the sticker on their car. Have you ever been to the Mystery Spot? Almost anyone who has ever had company from out of town has gone there. That's how I got my bumper sticker (which is happily living in a drawer ). I have explained that it is a tacky, weird place (like something out of the 1950s) that over-charges for what it is.... and yet, they still insist we go there. When you go there, they give you a bumper sticker. You pay them $5 admission and $5 for parking and they give you a bumper sticker so you can PAY them to advertise for them.
