Who works at Target?

I was thinking about applying, and working there while I attend vacational school.I was just wondering what the average pay for sales floor associate would be, and what shifts they usually offer.Just so I get some sort of Idea.
Also what are some pros and cons of working there?

Yes, I am young and I have myself and a child to support, as well as paying rent while furthering my education, so if you are going to be rude, keep it to yourself.

My father worked at Target part time after retiring a few years ago and loved it. His pay was $7:50hr to start and he got in store discounts and employee discounts for other companies such as Dell ( he got 10% off his dell computer ). Target has party's for it's employees each week where he worked and free food while working at his store. He said that the management was great also. His shifts varied from morning to evenings but he didn't care. My father was a physicist for 40 years before retiring and then working for Target and said that Target was the best place he had ever worked...

I worked at target as a teen to afford to pay rent

I'm going to apply soon, myself. I applied at Wal-mart and they wanted to pay me a very small $5.50 an hour, bare minimum wage. I hope Target can do better than that. And it seems so much happier there.

floor people there get around 750 a hour
