Have we been Scrooged?

I live near a town of 20,000. Two shopping malls. Went there Saturday and not a single toy store or any even selling any. A woman in the corridor had 2 remote control cars and 2 remote control helicopters for sale. That's it! And the mall seemed devoid of decorations, yet out side streets had plenty. And homes are lit up more than ever this year. So has Oregon been Scrooged or is this happening elsewhere?

Just noticed too that Christmas toys are also missing from TV advertising as well. Can it be that video games have replaced all the really neat toys. My best Christmas was at 7 with a toy train circling the tree. And a new bike at 9, a 3 speed.

My city nixed the red and green for purple and blue. There is a blue star with a white halo in the middle of the street. Pissed me the hell off! Went to the mall which I won't go back to, same thing with the lights but they piped in Christmas music didn't feel right at all. We have been totally scrooged by the politically correct brigade. They have mistaken what is mostly just impolite and turned it into incorrect. Freakin nuts.

But they might be out smarting themselves: You leave God and Christ out of the Christmas making it Happy Holidays instead of Christmas. What do you have? Just another Holiday like July 4th Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving New Years.
I don't buy Holiday gifts at all. I buy Christmas gifts. And if the store is just selling Holiday presents I am not buying there.
I will go to the stores that sell Christmas presents and buy my Christmas presents from them.
I DON'T BUY HOLIDAY PRESENTS PERIOD. !
What next it we do?
They start pushing buying Holiday presents for Memorial Day, Holiday presents for July 4rh, Holiday presents for Labor Day, Holiday presents for Thanksgiving?
