What is your degree in, are you a resident or DO,MD. Or do you mean by medical school, something as a tech in the medical field?

I can't say anything about GA but come to Upstate NY, and I don't mean Albany, Rochester or Buffalo. Although you COULD go there and get a great job just as well.

In NY we are pretty desperate for nurses. Check out:

Potsdam Canton Hospital in Potsdam NY
Massena Memorial in Massena NY
Claxton Hepburn in Ogdensburg NY

If you go farther down south such as (near) White Plans NY (about 1 1/2 hrs north of NYC) the hospitals are also desperate.

Depending on where you go and what field (E.R. for example) you could earn anywhere from $16.00-$50.00 an hour. My brother in law works all over NY and is thinking about going down South (NY) and working in a small E.R. room where he will be making $32.00 an hour and working with no more than 12 patients at a time. Its really great.
