What is the average amount that a home care provider charges for taking care of seniors?

I am looking into hiring someone to come to my parents' home to help with cleaning, cooking, running errands, etc.

it really depends on the agency, any where from $10.00- $20.00 an hour depending on care needed, make sure you check with your local senior centers for agencies and maybe your parents would qualify for help or even meals on whells which is very helpful for the shut in senior/
