What's a good job for a career-changer?

I have a bachelor's degree in Communications and worked in public relations. Now I have no job, am depressed, waitressing, and kicking myself. What's a different field that would not take much training where I could earn $37,000 (pay rates are a bit higher here in Connecticut, cost of living is higher too though). I was earning about $30,000 before with no benefits and having to work 1-2 days a week additional in waitressing to earn $37,000.

I feel for you. It's tough for anyone to make a decent living these days. My husband and I have been struggling for years so recently I have started doing some research into jobs/careers that one can do from home. Have you ever thought of working from home? No commute, work in your pyjamas, be available for your family/hobbies.

I have found, after weeding through all the scams out there that there are actually quite a few good job/career opportunities available through the net. If you are interested I would be more than happy to share with you a few good links that might help get you started on your search.
