What should i bring?

i have a job interview at a grocery store. its just a minimum wage cashier and/or cleaning position. i'm only 15 so it's not like i need to bring a resume or transcript. i'm bringing my tentative summer practice schedule...but...anything else? also if you can offer any general help it'd be appreciated. this is my first one!

Because you are under the age of 18, you should also stop by your school and pick up a work permit. If you are offered a job, this will expedite the process.

You may also want to bring a note pad to jot down any pertinent information such as training dates, benefits, etc., etc.

In addition, if you have a personal calendar where you keep track of appointments that may be helpful too.

Good luck on your interview.

you don't have to have a work permit when you're 15. don't waste your time on that. i don't think you should have to bring anything else. just smile, be yourself...you'll be fine

Work hard and always be on time (pref. early), and make sure you care, do your job with pride and possibly you'll get moved up based on your performance. Always tell your employer a head of time of your obligations if you have any, because no one likes surprises. That's a great idea to bring your summer schedule so they won't have any conflicts cause you already gave them a heads up. Show them you care and you appreciate the opportunity. Hopefully this job works out for you and good luck!!!

Wow you're only 15 huh. Don't bring anything. Just don't show up like a slob with a ton of piercings. No ripped jeans etc. Employers that are willing to hire a 15 year old KNOW that the prospects coming in don't have experience. After appearance it's going to come down to personality so be charming. One thing grocery stores DO want is your ability or willingness to be on the job when they need you. If you are involved in activities that might prevent you from working from time to time this will not help.

ew, You're getting a job too...

If it interferes with marching band you will die...just saying...
