What is like to have a woman as a job? |
I am graduating this year and found out that my boss is going to be a woman. I have worked as thought, but had male bosses and am wondering what is the experience of those who have had a woman boss. Ok, yes this is a stupid question, b/c I do know that personality is a big factor. I was trying to get to something else, but this question is stupid It may be more difficult for a male to be over ruled by a woman only because the male species are prone to being dominant. Treat her with respect and she shall do the same. Women are not hard to get along with but her being your boss might possibly treat you as if she were your boss. Don't treat her any different though just because she is a woman. It shouldn't be too difficult depending on the job you are taking part of, but if she does get harsh or strict, it's not because shes being a b*tch, she is just trying to manage the company. But honestly if you are a man's man, it may be harder for you, but in time you will adjust. Hopefully she is nice though...male or female, it is always easier to enjoy your work if the boss is nice, but no gender can claim the attitude of the person in charge. and don't forget, everyday is different. And as for you, first impression will stick forever and determine how she treats you through out your time there. Good luck. It won't be as bad as you think. Haha this is so stupid. Newz flash: women are people. My dear friend, the same as a man, only she will be prettier than a man boss. GOD Bless you. I wouldn't worry about it. She should be as good a boss as a man. I have seen kind and mean women, also kind and mean men. Personality matters more than gender. It is actually a pretty silly question. You can have a great boss who might be a man or a woman. And you can have a lousy boss who might be a man or a woman. Good leadership is not gender dependent. |
