What happens next??

I just turned in an application to a resturant and they told me to come back and give it to the manager. When I came back the manager was still busy, so I gave to a waitress. Should I call back today to make sure she got it or should I wait.

i would go back in there with a copy of your resume.
and say "i saw that you were busy the other day when i came in. I handed my resume to a waitress, and i know how hectic this kob can be and was wondering if you received my resume. if you didn't i understand and you are still interested in my working for you i have another copy. Thank you for your time"
