I got called back for a second interview....PLZ READ AND ADVISE?

IU havwe never really interviewed for a job, they have always been some what as handed to me... And the have been good jobs, Like for the city and thru medical groups..... Well this is the first time i have interviewed and been called back for a second interview, What do i need to do??? What types of questions are usually in the second interview.... What does a second interview consist of? I want to be prepared like i was in the first interview so that i can get hired....

What field? Human Resources (Medical Group)
What position? HR Administrative Assistant

Depending on the type of job and the type of company, a second interview usually involved introducing you to other people than the one your interviewed with originally. Some companies will have you interview with the hiring manager first. They narrow it down to their top candidates and then have your potential co-workers speak with you to see if you'd fit in with them. Other companies bring you back in for a 2nd interview with "higher ups". A 2nd interview is a great sign!

Prepare for a 2nd interview the same as you would the first. Keep in mind all of the great things you've accomplished and be prepared to sell yourself and your skill set! Many employers are asking behavior-based questions these days like "tell me about a time you missed a deadline" etc. Prepare for those sorts of questions as well!

Good luck!

Calm down first of all!! They like you if you're being called back. They prob just want to see what sort of person you are and if someone else needs to be there during the interview, they are there to give a second opionion on how they "feel" about you.

They may go more into depth about salary, benefits, job descriptions, etc and ask you if you have any questions. Be sure and ask if you have a question. No such thing as dumb question.
