Old Job - Should I go back - what should I ask for?

I recently left my old job due to a stall in advancement and well, money. I've worked at this company for many years and moved on to what appeared to be a better job opportunity. The pay is far better but the job is not what it appeared to be.

I recently found out the dept I was a member of at the former company is having some major problems (right after I left) and would love to have me back (per sr mgt). I'm meeting with a few of the higher ups to discuss my possible return (I left on very good standing).

Should I ask for the same amount of money I am making now or more? Should I ask for increased responsibility/title (one of the reasons I left was because a few members of middle mgt would stonewall every good idea that passed by them as they liked to keep below the radar).

I think you should ask for what you want... it never hurts to ask. If they can't give it to you, ask for what you're willing to settle for.
