How do I become a guy who cremates people?

How much do they usually make?

a crematorium technician makes about $35,000/yr. No particular qualifications are required, and training is normally on the job.
so i guess you can just go to a funeral home or a crematorium and ask for a job.
you would probably need a college education for a position higher up like a mortician but you would have to deal with living and dead people since they arrange the funeral and everything along with cremating dead bodies.

an undertaker u mean? im not sure how much they make, what a strange choice of job..

go to a funeral home and ask the people their

hmmm..no offense but what interests you about the specific profession??

Are you serious? Iono, but I think they get paid a lot for cremating corpse. You should rephrase your question. You don't want to cremate people, you want to cremate dead bodies... But only if you have permission in doing so.

Get a degree in funeral mamangement or similar. If you simply want to do the creamation, I'm sure tha is a very menial entry-level job. Just go to a funeral home and apply/ask?

I would think that would not pay very much.

You have to go to college for MORTUARY SCIENCE.... that is where you will learn how to embalm people (remove their blood and replace it with special chemicals), and prepare bodies for burial AND cremation..... My local community college has an excellent mortuary science division.... what happens is this. People who donate their bodies to science (commonly called cadavor donors) are brought to the college after their deaths...... the Mortuary Science Students take those bodies and practice embalming, and preparing the bodies....they are taught by CERTIFIED Mortuary Science Instructors (most of whom are local funeral home owners and directors.... Once you graduate with a degree in Mortuary Science, you would probably go to work for some funeral home in your town to gain EXPERIENCE.... once you feel you've gained the proper amount of experience, then you can open up your own funeral home.... you will have to know about things like BUSINESS LAW, accounting, ALL aspects of Mortuary Science, dealing with the public, preparing contracts. and chemistry.... AND the most important thing is you must not get Squeemish around Dead people... A good Funeral director in a large city or town has the capacity of making several thousand dollars per year.... of course the smaller the area where your funeral home IS, the less money you will be making.... one thing IS for certain, if you became a funeral owner or director, you would never run out of clients....everyone dies.
