I Think Im Fired Should I go In Though? |
Ok I took 3 weeks off work cause i had tonsolites and then went on vacation and my boss wanted me to work sunday and monday and i called today to tell hjim im home from vacation and he said dont come in sunday and monday then he said come see me next sunday and hung up then i called my friend and found out he is working my shifts as a dishwasher and busboy also so i guess im fired but should i go see my boss sunday though he is a toltal jerk so i really dont want to my mom said just dont go see him but what do you ppl think shuold i go see what he wants sunday or not i really hate the job and im gonna go be a bagger person at the store next week cause im turning 16 but should i see what he wants sunday or not! Don't listen to em. You hate that job! You only live once! You're still young! Go find something that makes you happier than working for that old fart. I wouldn't even give him the satisfation of going in. I would see this as a "sign." You aren't supposed to be working there anymore. It doesn't sound like you're fired to me. You haven't received an official letter or announcement of termination. Yes, you should go in to see your boss and discuss what happened, did you tell him you were going on vacation after having your tonsillitis? You sound peeved at the fact that your mate worked your shifts, did you expect your boss to keep the job open for you and not replace you with someone while you were away? You say you 'think you are fired' so you are not sure on that score. You may think he is a jerk because of the pressures of work and trying to keep a business running as well as paying wages and trying to make a profit, go see him, he wants to talk to me it sounds like you may not be fired at all and by going to see him it would show that you have a sense of responsibility. Good luck with the new job. If he says talk to him I would. But if you really don't want the job why bother. it sounds like you are about to be fired, if my boss told me that i would surely be fired. but to be absolutely sure, just go and see what he is going to tell you. you might as well go and not second guess yourself, also if you ARE going to be fired you can be there to argue and try to keep your job. your best option is to go and see what he has to say, good or bad If you leave without resigning, that's considered job abandonment. Abandoning a job does not look good on a resume. Talk to your boss on Sunday and listen to what he has to say. If you don't want to keep your job, then resign and move on. Man up and go see your boss. It's not his fault you're a total slacker. BTW life doesn't get any easier so stop hiding behind your mother. Good luck at your next three jobs...McDonalds, Burger King and Wendy's. just quit the job. |
