Career ideas for creative type?

what are some jobs i could have.. (after a degree). i wanted to write children's books for a long time, but now i think that might be a really tough market to crack. so i don't know what i want to do..

i'm kind of creative, good at writing, work well in teams, good at photoshop/web design, slightly shy, pick up languages well.. i live in california so i need to make good money. what careers could i be suited for?

i love california! i'm not sure, i haven't given much thought to all the other careers that are out there.

Graphic Design

Interior Decorating---->Thats what I might go for! =)

Fashion Design--->This is my second choice for me when I go to college next year, its FUN and you can study in different places.

Fashion Merchandising

You could do something in advertising.

when me and my mate left school she had the same situation she wrote down everything she has always wanted to do put them in a hat and i picked one out , she always said that was the best idea we had because she wanted to be a nurse instead she is a social worker and has helped many children,,,good luck

How about becoming a defender of the weak?, of the ones with no voting rights? or even an advocate for the abused, the humiliated? the bashed on? and you can write that too.
