Each resume should only have a single objective. For best results, each resume should be tailored for the specific type of position, highlighting the skills and experience for each type of job. A good teaching resume should look different than a good IT resume. If you are using a straight chronological resume, you might want to look into what the advantages would be of preparing a 'functional' resume which highlights skills rather than work history. This is very effective when you are applying for widely different positions.. You can find samples and formats for different types of resume formats if you search online, or you can try the microsoft.com downloads section for a wide variety of templates you can customize for your needs. Good luck!

You should have multiple versions of your resume EACH with a seperate goal.

Also I recommend checking out www.learntosucceed.biz. They can make the difference, sound career advice and they will answer your specific questions.
Good Luck.

I'm not a fan of listing "Objective" at the top of the resume. It seems fairly obvious to me (as a hiring manager) that the objective of someone who has submitted a resume for a specific job is that they would like that particular job. Stating "To use my skills as an accountant in an up and coming firm with promotional opportunities" or some such phrase, just seems redundant.

If you're qualified and have adequate experience/education you'll get an interview and can explain why you're uniquely qualified for the job with your multiple sets of skills.
