10-key stroke? |
i scored 6100 key stroke per hour on a 10-key test, and 6300 on the second trial. is this a good score/considerable? what is the score that most office are looking for? That's pretty slow...try to get it up around 10,000/hr. I'm not fast by any means, and I just tested at 9789 keystrokes per hour. I think you'll want to be a bit faster than that. In regards to Mike's answer, 10,000 is a little on the high side. If you can get up to 8,000 then you are doing good. I know that when I worked for a temp agency, they didn't even consider candidates for clerical jobs unless they could pass a typing test doing over 55 wpm and over 8,000 keystrokes. 6900 keystrokes isn't terribly slow, but it's not really that fast either.
