Should I worry about a cover letter when I recieved an app from a company? |
They handed me an app and I'm wondering if it would be just fine to give them my resume along with the app with no cover letter. It would be fine! However, a cover letter would be even better! It would show off your writing skills and ambition. You don't have to have a cover letter unless they specifically ask for it, but it's a good idea to include one. Your resume lists your experience and skills, but the cover letter is your opportunity to tell this specific employer why you are the best fit for the job. A well-written cover letter can sometimes make the difference in getting an interview or not. |
