If I am offered a second job interview the very next day after the first interview, does that mean I pretty?

It really depends on the company. If it is a smaller company that doesn't do a series of interviews, then you have your foot in the door. The second interview is for you to meet other team members or another supervisor. However, if a larger corporation, could me one more in a series. Good luck.

It is a very good sign but not necessarily a for sure.

It could go either way. The speedy second interview might be because the employer is on a VERY tight deadline to fill the position and/or they've already decided and are just trying to get it over with.

You may be pretty, but many employers have two, sometimes three interviews, before they make a final decision.

No, they could have started with say six candidates and found three they think could all do the job equally well.

So bring all three back and give them a second, tougher, interview to try and decide on the one who'll be offered the job.

i wouldnt go with that because i thought of that when i was interviewed and i had retyrned and he said that he had narrowed it doen but i still didnt get the job so go in with the same mindset as your first interview. dont get cocky because the interviewer will pick up on that

That USUALLY means that you interviewed about as well as another person, and there aren't any "easy" ways for the employer to choose between the two of you. Do even better in the second interview, and the job is yours. A good way to acheive this might be to revisit something you didn't do really well first time around, and excel at it; or you might ask THEM some questions to clarify something about the company you found when you were researching them....that show genuine interest on your part.

This doesn't mean you "got" the job, it usually means you are one of the select few that they are considering. Be prepared and I hope you do well!! (I've been on alot of second interviews (hours long)...no job afterwards so I went to grad school)
