Can I get a job at 16? |
I was wondering what you have to go through to get a job? And when you finally get it, do BOTH of your parents have to cosign something to allow me to work there? The problem is that my mom will let me go work somewhere but my dad wont let me. So yeah.... I'm trying to plan it all out. So do they both have to cosign it or just maybe one parent or none at all? Thanks for your help! Yes you can get a job without having your parents signing anything. . .jobs in like fast food restaurants and other labour work. . . Here in California only one parent has to sign your work permit..I just signed one for my daughter idk about cosign. but u have to get a work permit from your school. yea u can get a job @ 16, retail or grocery would hire you if anything. I kno publix would for a fact I am 16 and i am getting a job at a Restaurant! I think you only need one parent to sign but im sure your not going to make your dad happy if you do that. |
