What is it like to be a pharmacist? Advantages and Disadvantages?

I am a high school senior and applied at IUPUI for Pre-Pharmacy.
I really want to become a pharmacist and learn more about medicine. I know it is going to be hard work but I think that I am ready for it. Pharmacist have really good employment opportunities and i am looking forward to college.

You seem to have a good idea about the career already.

If you have not already looked at the Occupational Outlook Handbook (see source below), then I recommend you do. It provides a good overview of the career and I think it will reenforce your impressions of the career.

If you have not worked in a Pharmacy and you not in school this summer, you should consider getting a summer job as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy aide.
