Whats a job that doesn't car about ear peircings or punkish lookin hair o.o? |
well, my hairs not very punkish, just sorta i guess, and i have like...8 peircings on my ears total XD So what job would not really give a damn about your looks lol? A job that's creative. And please don't say a painter and stuff like that LOL, cause i can't draw professionally if my life depended on it =[ A job in a salon sounds perfect for you - you should learn how to cut hair!! A skate shop, a tattoo artist, surf shop, warehouse worker...there are lots of them! Spencers Gifts or Hot Topic. I was going to say a call center. But then again, those aren't very creative places. try working in a library. probably not a government or state library, but public libraries employ very open minded people. Zumiez, Hot Topic, Beach Bums or similar store front counter. Go to a "Bohemian" neighborhood where you feel you fit in and then find a job you're qualified for.... a waiter/waitress, customer service rep. or get a job where you don't deal with the public. A lot of computer programmers aren't interested in your looks just what you know and how good you are. Hmmm... it depends on what you like to do that is creative!! For example, I love to read so for a while I worked at a Barns and Noble, and they could care less what your hair looked like or if you had piercings. Right now, I have an office job with bright red hair and lots of piercings in my ears with no problems. I think it all depends on how you handle yourself in todays times really. You will be shut out of some places for your looks (although this is illegal, if you have blue hair and someone normal looking with the same qualifications come in they will get the job) but alot of places just want good people. So, take a look at what you enjoy and start there first. If I were the boss, I would not hire based on hair, tattoos or piercings. Good luck. oh!..well you gotta opt for call center..as long you resolved the problem of the caller you are good to go..as long your tongue has not pierced..lol: There are many jobs these days that will "accept" you with any type of look...company cultures are more open minded these days however, in your case, unfortunately ALL companies still require that you know how to spell or at least use spell check...good luck! Go to college and major in marketing construction/trade related jobs, jobs in bars, waitress, clerk in a punk clothing store, McDonald's just to name a few, trash collector |
