I was just wondering if you get a bachlors in business adminstraion can you work for a music company ? |
i need to know for my future ??? i don't want to be a an artist manager because i want some security in my work and i've always wanted to work in a music company as someone important in the company (if its corporation or another term don't jump all over my back please ) Sure, music companies need people to run the administrative side of the company--finance, human resources, marketing, etc. The opportunities are endless. Also, with a BBA, you have other avenues open to you as well, in other industries. Sounds like a good plan to me. There is no such thing as security in the entertainment field. Folk are hired one day, and fired the next...for wild reasons. IF you want to work for a music company, there are people with BAs in business, even MBAs who handle the dollars and cents end of the various clients assigned. Of course, there are fewer and fewer labels because of buyouts and consolidations. However, I'd check on line with a few record companies to see what opportunities they have. Yes, you willlllllll starve for a while...but, this is natural for a career change. |
