Resume Help!!?

ok so i lied a little on my resume (who doesn't) and now she wants refrences. Should i jus give her the number anyway and play it off?Thanks for reading and answering!

Hopefully you've learned your lesson about lying - it can easily cost you the job you don't even have yet.

You can request that the future employer not contact your current employer, but she does have a legal right to verify your employment at previous companies. Instead, give her personal references - coworkers and supervisors, or even friends and family, who have seen you work and can attest to your work ethic.

No, there is no playing off a load of BShiznit. I would give someones number and get a close friend or family member to play it off for me. Good luck on this one and it all depends on what you lied about and if its even possible to do it based on how much info you gave her.

Lying on your resume will eventually catch up with you, if it hasn't already. Many employers now-a-days contact your previous employers, just to verify start and end dates. There is really no need to lie on your resume, my dear, and no-not everyone does it!
