How can I quit my job only after a few months?

Hi, I have been at my current job for about 4 months and i'm getting another job offer that I want to take.

What's the best way to quit my current job? I will give two weeks notice, a letter, etc. I'm just worried about how mad they may be? My job is a tricky, technical job that's hard to train, even on the interview no one knew exactly what the job would be, except one person and they couldn't explain it all to me at the interview. I doubt they can get someone in two weeks and have me train them :( They are nice to me but I am stressed out, and the other job is offereing less but it is what I use to do and feel I would be better doing that job.

And is two weeks notice ten working days?

Thanks!

Just be smooth about it. Give them notice and work with them until they train your replacement, so that you can end on good terms and have a future reference. Just be straight up with them. I'm sure they'll work with you if they're really nice.

Simple, you quit. These days companies are not loyal to their employees so why should we bother being loyal to them? Wait, before you think I just got fired or something, no I have a great job. But the truth is the truth, today you have to follow two things. Some choose to chase the money, some chose to chase the happiness. If you are EXTREMELY lucky you get both.

If you don't think they can train anyone in two weeks there is no point in staying two weeks. The fact of the matter is, everyone is replaceable. If your health and happiness are important you be respectful and finish out the week. Good Luck!

Its always better to do a job tat u like or prefer to do...
Put ur notice paper as early as possible, but before u put ur papers down, make sure u get ur appointment letter from the next company (play safe).

If ur company is not accepting ur resignation letter, negotiate with them, tell them pros ur gonna get from the other company...
One thumb rule, never reveal ur cons in ur present company :)

Gud Luck on wat ever ur doing...
