I hate working in retail, who likes or hates it?Going to school to be a nurse instead.? Think of it as only being temporary and keep your goals in mind when it becomes difficult to deal with....this will help get you through! Retail is always hard....many things to deal with. It is a very busy job. If you hate it, you should try to find something else that really interests you. If you like to take care of others, being a nurse could be a nice job. Good luck! I work retail part time while going to school full time. The only reason I do it is because the schedule is flexible and I don't have skills for very many other jobs. Whenever I get sick of dealing with bitchy customers or overwhelmed with messes to clean up I remind myself that this is a temporary, humbling experience. You have to start at the bottom to appreciate your position when you make it to the top. If you are going to school for nursing, maybe you should look for a nursing assistant job. They pay a lot more but its also more stressful and demanding. |
