Ocean related careers?

I'm looking for a fun, relatively well paying career that somehow ties in the ocean. I live in Minnesota and want to get the heck out of here. The ocean has always been a place of refuge for me so i figure that would be a good place to start looking. Any ideas?

Go to college and become a marine biologist. If that's not an option join the Coast Guard and they will train you in a position you might be able to take into the private sector after your tour is up.

Work on a Cruise ship would be a good one, you get the chance to travel and see allot and spend most of your time afloat in the ocean, as well as working offshore on an oil rig, there are many companies on the gulf coast of Mississippi that are hiring and pay well, chevron is hiring starting out at $15.00 per hour and have jobs where you spend three weeks on an oil rig out in the gulf for three weeks at a time and give you a week off in between before going back out to work.
Or if you want to take the military route, i recommend the navy.

You could work for a cruise line.
