Are there any websites that help people know what career they would like? HELP, for my 17 yr old.?

careercruising.com

Best site I have ever used for careers and how to get them

www.collegeboard.com

find career profiles / my roads

www.princetonreview.com

google "career search" there are many sites

he/she should be doing it him/herself not you

Monster.com

Connexions website is good =]
Kudos one is okay...

Yes, there are. Just look under career search keywords. Also your child's high school counselor knows of tests that are available to show aptitudes for certain careers and fields.

i'm not sure if this is quite what ur looking for but it might

www.princetonreview.com

lets you search all kinds of different jobs, the degrees you would need to major in and then the schools that offer it.

When I was in high school, the counselors gave us apptitude tests which showed our interests and the careers that would work with the interests that we had. I would think that if any of the sites shown from the previous person don't work for you, the school counselor should be able to guide you.

i know that there are "test" your student could take to determine what type of careers he/she might want to consider based on intrests. i think it's difficult for anyone to decide what they want to do for the rest of their life. No test is going to tell you flat out what you should do, just kind of help point in the right direction. talk to your child's guidence dept. in school they might know of where a test can be found
