Men as Comstologist?

Okay someone answer this for me....but no smart asses...

why is it considered gay for a man to be a cosmetologist and make up artist...
but its not considered "lesbian" for a woman to be a welder or mechanic or engineer....

Alletary....I agree with you a 100 percent...I mean i am not a sexist at all but us men need a revolution...but how to start it...

Because women have already had their "Women's Liberation Revolution" in the late sixties to early seventies. This is when they rebelled about nearly every stereotype against women that there was. Many people hated them but these early feminists paved the way for future generations of women. They also brought issues like child abuse out into the open. This is why you hear more about it now. It has been argued by many that maybe men need a revolution too because there are many unfair stereotypes (and unjust laws) placed against men today.

Oh, but it is my friend. I have worked in construction and it always makes a woman suspect.

haha i was just ranting about this earlier today

because people have there heads up ther ***

our society is screwed up

some people will maqke a big deal of issues like gay marriage and what not when its not as important as the issue that the guy who lives down the street is a filed sexual predator and you have kids

I disagree. I think either way it raises suspicions. Not that it's right for people to be so closed mined but we are after all just human.

I think if a man wants to be a cosmotologist is a good thing and not necessarily put a "gay" label on him. If he knows what he's doing, why not? I think he may even bring in more customers because people would be curious to see how good he is.
Look at men who sell Avon and Mary Kay. Wouldn't a female be more comfortable buying from a man? Just so she will have a man's point of view right there on the spot.
