Radiologic Technologists and Related Careers question:?

I have been researching two-year associate's degree programs that would lead to a decently paying and stable career, and have come up with a radiological technology program (x-ray tech) radiation therapist, and sonogram tech.

My question is dicrected a people who do these jobs for a living. I am not crazy about working with people. To be honest I don't like them too much, but most of the jobs I've done in my life involve working with them and no one ever guesses I don't enjoy it (I'm polite, intelligent, professional and pleasant.) I would rather work with animals but none of those jobs pay anywhere near what I need (vet school is not an option.)

My question is, do the careers I mentioned above have a lot of interaction with people, or just the obvious "Hi, come in, sit down, I'm going to x-ray you, OK have a nice day" type of thing?

I realize this is a weird question. PLEASE don't respond by saying I'm terrible and shouldn't be allowed near people. :)

I recommend job shadowing in radiation therapy and ultrasound, since I am not in these fields. I get patients who are sick and in pain, and can be REALLY rude and mean. If you don't like people, maybe you should consider another field.
