What's my best bet?

Right now I'm technically own my on but most decision I make have outside help. Now I'm moving state to state and it's all me by myself. How should I go sbout securing a job, place to live all the while trying to get into school?

Decide where you want to go to school, and apply now. You don't want to move and then discover that you didn't get into the school you want.

Apply for financial aid.

Get a job where you are now with an employer that is nationwide, and transfer to where you want to live. Then, you'll have employment.

Visit websites like:
www.apartments.com
www.forrent.com
www.springstreet.com www.apartmentratings.com (after you narrow down your choices)
www.angieslist.com (before you hire a mover)
You'll be able to look at apartment floorplans, pricing and photos to get an idea of where you might want to live ahead of time.

Join myspace.com or similar websites, and start talking to people who live in the areas you're interested in. Most likely, you'll find someone helpful, and they can tell you what the bad areas of town are, and what the town is like.

Good luck!

I'd put top priority on getting a job, assuming I had a car that I could live out of for a few days. I would look for something that I already have the skills for, and wouldn't leave me exhausted at the end of every day. If I couldn't find that, I'd take anything, just to pay the bills.

Choice of job could influence where to live, both to be close to work, and as far as what I could afford. So the next thing would be to find housing, possibly, a shared living situation, such as a room in a house, or roommates with other student(s).

The next goal would be to get into school. If I was going for a regular college or university and couldn't get in right away, I would go for a community college, and not slack off while I was there. After proving myself in community college, my chances for the regular college would go way up.

I don't know if you go to church, but if you do, finding one that suits you, preferably with lots of people your age, would be a priority.
