I want a job in courts but i dont necessarily want to be a lawyer any suggestions? |
I just like being in that enviornment, and not sure where to start as far as searching for jobs. court reporter (my recommendation), paralegal (a little more stressful), work at the courthouse such as in the clerk's office, bailiff, judge's assistant, etc. (not as well paid but better hours) There are many types of jobs in the court system. Examples: filing documents in court files, helping a judge keep track of court dockets, looking after the jury during a trial. Go to your local court house and find out how to apply for a job. My best to you. |
