raid every cupboard, wardrobe, and loft space you have, unwanted gifts or keepsakes that you know you wont use, just sell them. look for possible profitable bargains/antiques in thrift shops and sell them on, have a raffle for something you know people will want, for example take an unwanted gift and mark it on ebay as 'win a chance to own this brand new ------ for just a pound' put up say 50 buy it now chances. i hope thats not illegal. use any talent you might have, like painting or fixing things and use them.
