MY visa debit card charges 25 to activate yearly not for the card but for the reward program? |
The 25 annual fee is not for the debit card but instead for the lame reward program which i dont want but i called the bank and they say it is required I would call them about this, especially if your not intending to use the reward program. Tell them you will switch if they do not remove the fee. I used have a discover card that charge $25.00 fee on to the card if I were to use the reward program to basically buy my own item. Because you and I both know thats cheaply made item all under $25.00. My card was only going to charge me $25.00 if I were to trade in my "points" to get something shiny and new. I said no thanks and got a new credit card and transferred my balance. I would not active the card and just pay on it. You are allowed to do that, they do not require you to active the card at all. |
