I Want to open up a Bar????

I want to open up my own bar but my question to anyone that can help me is what is required? What do I need for the bar itself, what about the speakers,what are some good speakers so I can have bands come and play?? And if anyone knows, how much is it for a liquor license?? Anything helps..thank you!!

You won't need speakers for bands. They should have their own equipment. As far as what's needed:

1) A building
2) Money. And lots of it.
3) Vendors (drinks, snacks, furniture, glasses, etc)
4) Liquor license (cost depends on where you are and type of license)
5) Insurance (and lots of it)
6) Employees (and costs that go along with them)

Google your "state Alcohol and Firearms" board.

They may post the licence fees and regulations.
Zoning will play a part in location and noise.

you are looking at about $10,000.00-$20,000.00 just for the liquor license and bands you need a entertainment license but good luck
