What stocks will be affected by the digital tv law?

Like for the digital tv boxes...what companys supply parts to make those boxes...those stocks will sky rocket by next year? right?

No.

Since the regulations regarding the switch-over have been know for years, investors have already evaluated its effect. This means that the price of the shares of companies that will profit (or suffer) from it already reflects these effects.

The share prices of these companies may change many times between now and then, but that will be for reasons OTHER than the switch-over.

Unfortunately, you are way too late to take advantage of this piece of knowledge. Once the market has the information the share prices react almost instantaneously
