Why can I not pay more than the list price for an item?

The price was 拢24.99. But a delivery charge of 拢15 applies to items less than 拢25. So why was I not allowed to pay 拢25 for the item to avoid the delivery charge?

because thats how they make money on the delivery.

if you would have bought another item, that would have put you over the minimum and you would have avoided the fee.

like when you buy an electronic device that has a mail in rebate. many people dont send in the paper work so the company makes more money.

mcdonald's puts cookies by the register so you get that last impuls purchase.

they are all money making stratagies.

just buy something else!! you can not pay a company more than the listed price for an item, it would screw up their system and is silly, its more in their interest to make you buy ANOTHER ITEM than simply paying 1 pence more. that would gip them out!

Don't have it delivered!!!!!!

Because they wanted $39.99, not $25.00. Greed.
