Ups And Fed Ex Salary? |
How Much Do Ups And Fed EX drivers get paid a year and hourly before and after taxes? I can't answer for Fed-Ex as I don't work there. As for UPS a driver's yearly salary greatly depends on overtime (trust me you get plenty). On average $70,000-$85,000 per year before taxes. Hourly rate currently in my district is $28.29/hour. Overtime is anything over 8 hours a day and after 40 hours a week. I work between 9-10 hours a day (average). UPS drivers get paid more than FedEx drivers, but the numbers vary greatly. UPS drivers are Teamsters Union members, FedEx does not have any union in the company except for the pilots. UPS drivers also work many more hours per day than FedEx drivers (and I am assuming you are talking about the drivers that come to your door). Why would consider working for the man!!? When you can work for yourself . . self employment is much more fulfilling and challenging than working for those guys. I'm sure it varies. UPS is union, Fedex is not. |
