Accounting Help Please....Statements of Cash Flows Help!?

Of the various categories of cash flows on a statement of cash flows, which category would you expect to be negative in a profitable company, and which category do you want to see as positive? 鈥?/div>

In a profitable company, one would expect that investing activity would be negative since profitable company would mostly invest their earnings.

The part which should always be positive in a profitable company is the operating activities since operating activities deals mainly on the outcome and receipt of cash from the regular operation of the company.
