Hey ebay users~ I need help!?

Hi. My friend paid through paypal and bought

this one pair of shoes instead of me on 4/11/08. (I paid her)

I checked that ebay seller store today and

the seller was no longer registered member.

I assume he or she is trying to scam me or either

something happen to him or her(I dont know what would make a seller unregister even though something happens)

Please tell me everything I possible could do at this point

The seller's score was 99%

pretty high or very high

Have you friend go to paypal and start a dispute with the seller.

I HATE EBAY..SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE LOST SO MUCH ON THAT WEBSITE...AND THEY DO NOTHING ABOUT IT..SUCH A SHAME...

i once went as far as taking the complaint to the trade commission, nothing was ever done...
