Is it possible to cancel this? (please help!)?

I'm a novice flash game designer and I just found out after confirming and accepting the transaction that I've been ripped off by my sponsor. He said he'd only pay $320 dollars for my game but then I found out I could get $500. He also told me to remove credit so no one can see that it was me who did all the work.

Is it too late to tell him I want to cancel? :< He first offered only $180 for my game and THAT I knew was too cheap. I feel like I got scammed because he witheld information on me. Ontop of that he set restrictions AFTER the deal was made, such as "you cannot post your work at ______"

email can be binding, but if he change the terms after the fact, you would have to re agree to the new terms.

SO you should therefore email him (soon) stating that you don't like the terms he gave to you after you agreed. You weren't aware of such terms, and you want something different.

Tell him what terms you want, if he says No, then you have every right to walk away. If he accepts your terms, then you have to go through the process again until you are happy.

It doesn't sound like it after hearing all that.

I don't think you were ripped off, you just under valued yourself. Consider it a cheap lesson...next time, it could have been for a lot worst. It could have been thousands. Yeah, it is aweful he took advantage of you, but there is always someone waiting to take advantage of you somewhere, that is how con artists survive. I am sorry you got ripped off, but it would be worth your while to have a contract next time stating that you get game credit, etc.

Sounds like your screwed, Did you sign a contract? If so get a layer or just let it go.
