Are the banks and Post Offices open today please?

Thanks, have been to both and they were open but I missed the last collection at the PO.

Yes my son has just been to post aparcel for e-bay, so yes in UK at any rate. Also had delivery of mail.

In my town the Post Office is closing at 12:00 and the bank is open regular hours.

It's late in the day for me, but the way to be 100% sure is to call your bank. Sometimes, in the holidays, they have set hours. A phone call can check on this.

Please be aware that some Post Offices may be closing early on New Year's Eve.
We recommend that you check with your local Post Office for their hours of operation on Dec. 31.
Only Express Mail will be delivered on New Year's Day, Tuesday, Jan 1.
Regular Post Office hours and mail delivery services will resume on Wednesday, Jan 2.
Noon will be the last collection for mail deposited in blue collection boxes for Dec. 31 processing.

Banks typically take the same holidays that Post Offices do, so some of those may also have shortened hours today.

yes they are open today,in scotland they are closed the 1st and the 2nd january but just the 1st everywhere else.

The PO here was open to 4pm, but the bank was only open till 1pm,poor f*ckers that work in the PO! LOL
