Do use Excel Energy?

Excel Energy has on thier bill a surcharge that is called the
"Fuel Cost Factor" I had never really noticed this on my bill but relized that it was more than my actual bill. So I made a call to Excel and the answer I was given that it is a "Legal charge" for what it cost them to produce my energy. I associated that with when I purchase groceries with an added charge for the chicken feed for the chicken I bought. I don't know if this would be comparable but I belive the American public are being ripped off once again by big corperations under the banner of "Legal charge" allowed and probably promoted by our government. Look at Enron and what they had done with the blessing of some of thier own pocketed government officials. If you have any enlightenment about this excess charge and if it is truly fair please explain if not please chime in and make our voices heard to this goverment that allows unscrupulous money charging shcemes.

I hate when online companies profit from charges like shipping AND handling! I think these legal charges fall under the same category. The handling and LEGAL charges should be added to the price of the item. I understand that fuel prices have gone up. That causes the price of products to go up. To hide those charges until the end of your order or until you get the bill is just wrong.

Sorry for not answering your question. I'm just a little irate at these practices and need to vent every now and then.
