I want to do consulting work for businesses...?

i want to get into a postion that advices management and business on how to improve their business processes and cut down costs and streamline etc...would it be better for me to do a CMA or a CPA or CFA or MBA??

i want a qualification that will give me a complete perspective on business eg. controls, accounting, financial management, strategy etc.

In the U.S., I think an MBA would give you the best foundation for management consulting. Most consulting firms also like their new hires to have three or four years actual business experience.

You should be aware that new hires at a consulting firm work very long hours. It is very hard work.

Communications skills, both oral and written are extremely important qualifications, since much of the work involves making presentations and writing long reports.
