Can a person live in an office building?

If a person owns or rents an office building or complex (not sure of the correct term) is it legal for that person to live in the offices owned or rented for any period of time.

physically u could for a short time .
legally an 'office building' is not a 'residence' and such is not ' to code'.
u would be illegally squating there and be forced out.
ur lease would be considered 'broken' and u would find ur self in financial and legal problems.
go find a place to rent.
if u 'owned' the property and there are 'residence permits' on property then maybe u could reside.
