A if you take, 29 punds of alumun cans, how much money should they give you? |
I only got 14.50 I expected more... bookmark this site for daily pricing of scrap copper and aluminum That's about right. I collected aluminium cans as a kid and saved enough money to buy all of the silver Franklin 1/2 Dollars from my father. I still have that coin collection 20-some years later... You don't get very much money...it sounds like you did pretty well...don't expect to get rich that way.. That's about right. If you could collect the deposit on any of the cans next time do that, deposit amounts far exceed the value of aluminum's weight as scrap. That's probably about right for sacrap aluminum. In Sacramento, CA you would get almost 45$ cor 29 pounds of aluminum cans. They pay 1.55 here. I remember a few years back when i was living in NV, they paid 33 cents a pound for cans and i knew at the time that CA was paying 1 dollar per pound. I thought about buying a bunch of cans and then just transporting them to CA, but i found out thats illegal to do that. But it sure would be a money maker if you wanted to take the risk huh? :) |
