Which Austrian bank should I set up an account with before I travel? Preferably a bank with a branch in NYC.?

I think that a bank account is far better than carrying travelers checks, Euros, or using my debit card with high international fees.

Please note all three web site has "English" version.
Also - as Austria is EU and uses Euro - I would think any Bank which allows you to bank in Euro would work.
