Hollister??

What are the "Rules" I'll say to work there??? I heard they're REALLY strict but i wanna know just how...

Don't wear any black, if your ears are pierced you can only really wear studs, shoes must be flip flops vans or converse, and you need to wear something that fits the Hollister "style" (so it could be American Eagle or something, just make sure the other brand's name isn't splashed across the shirt etc), you must be 17 to work. My managers were really laid back about the rules, but make sure you know if the district manager is coming in during one of your shifts then you better be on par with the rules. I know for work at Abercrombie you have to look Abercrombie. You can't wear makeup but you have to have perfect skin, you have to wear abercrombie at all times while working, you have to wear your hair down (no pony tails).. I know at hollister you have to wear flip flops year round.

You have to be in bed by nine. No cell phones allowed. If you break the rules I hear they spank over there.

Why would you want to work for a store with "strict rules"? Retail is supposed to be a more lighthearded fun job. If you fear their strictness now, imagine working for this place. Not a good work environment. You'll just end up with anxiety everyday.

Well I dont work there, but I've heard that you have to pretty much wear all Hollister, you cant wear anything that has another brand's logo on it. They make you stay pretty current with the new stuff that comes out. You cant wear black because they dont sell it at Hollister. And you always have to look good and maintain the "Hollister look". Hope this helps!
