Do I need to put tape on the edges of a shipping tube? |
I want to ship a poster in a sturdy tube. On the 2 edges, there is a plastic lid that cannot be removed unless a person does it with his hands. Should I put tape on both lids to prevent thief? I would. Theft is one thing, though probably not a problem. What happens if the tube is jumped on, do the ends pop off? If they do, you could lose the poster. no condoms are better the company who ships the package will advise upon pick up. i would just to be safe YES YES YES!!! YES! Ask the post office. They have special rules and will charge little or nothing if it's required. USPS, UPS, DHL, FED EX, all have different rules on this. check with the shipper. |
